Regrettably, this week slipped through my fingers, leaving me without the precious time needed to finalize my post. My workdays overflowed with tasks, leaving me a mere phantom at home. When I unexpectedly finished work early over the weekend — and yes, you read that correctly: I toiled over the weekend as well, tethered to my responsibilities — I faced a choice. Option one: hunch over my keyboard, weaving words into sentences, crafting my weekly post for this blog. Option two: embrace the warmth of family, and immerse myself in shared laughter and fleeting moments. The scales tipped swiftly, for guilt gnawed at my heart. My son, my little comet of joy, deserved more than fleeting glances during my marathon 13-hour workdays. And so, the decision unfolded like a well-worn map. Instead of the meticulously planned article, I present to you a different tale—a DIY project shared with my son.
