As we welcome the dawn of a brand-new year, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt wishes for a prosperous, joyful, and inspiring 2025 to each and every one of you. Whether you’re an occasional reader who stumbled upon this blog, a dedicated follower who eagerly awaits each new post, or a curious explorer who finds value in our shared journey, your presence means the world to me. Thank you for making this blog a part of your life and for joining me on this incredible journey.
For those who follow this blog, 2024 has been a remarkable year filled with learning, growth, and shared experiences. One of the most notable highlights has been the introduction of Copilot, who has significantly boosted my productivity. From brainstorming ideas to refining articles, Copilot has been an invaluable assistant. This partnership has transformed the way I work on this blog, enhancing the quality and efficiency of the content I produce. If you’ve noticed and appreciated the difference, please feel free to leave a comment. The progress has been incredible, and I’m excited to continue leveraging this powerful tool in the coming year. This means that I am indeed planning to resume the CogitActive Saga…
I am indeed thrilled to share that there are some exciting changes and announcements on the horizon for CogitActive. After a four-and-a-half-year interruption, I am finally 1 in a position to resume my work on CogitActive, thanks to my efforts in time management and the invaluable assistance of Copilot. This renewed focus will still involve some adjustments to my current workflow, though. First and foremost, I cannot afford to publish lengthy posts (as I did in the past months) weekly. Even with Copilot’s help, these remain time-consuming, leaving little room for other projects. Therefore, I will need to limit the time I dedicate to this blog to free up more time for CogitActive. I have a couple of ideas that I will share with you in due time, so stay tuned!
There are still many posts that I haven’t published, or more specifically written, yet, and I will prioritize finishing those first. While some topics might seem a bit outdated, many remain relevant and valuable. For example, the use of target="_blank" to open links in a new tab, a topic that has been debated for a while, was ready as an incomplete draft since the launch of this blog, but only published recently in “External links best practices.” That being said, I am well aware that much has changed during this four-and-a-half-year interruption. Two significant updates include SiteGround replacing cPanel with Site Tools and the advent of Full Site Editing with the release of WordPress 5.9. I am looking forward to moving forward into the present, in 2025, and perhaps starting a CogitActive Saga 2.0.
As we step into 2025, I am committed to continuing this journey together 2, exploring new horizons, and achieving new milestones. Thank you for being a part of this journey. May your new year be filled with success, happiness, and all the things that bring you joy.
Wishing you all the best,
CogitActive
1 This was my 2021 New Year resolution, made after a six-month interruption. Now, after an additional four-year hiatus, I am finally able to resume the CogitActive Saga. What a shame it took so long. ^
